Tansha Akogyeram

Tansha is an experienced litigator who focuses her practice on workers’ compensation, personal injury, wrongful death, insurance coverage, and contract disputes. She represents employers, insurers, companies, and individuals in high-stakes proceedings and litigation and is adept at navigating clients through complex legal matters.

Tansha handles all aspects of cases, including pre-litigation, alternate dispute resolution, trials, and appeals. In addition to her courtroom skills and advocacy, Tansha’s clients appreciate her ability to resolve issues before they become litigated. Tansha prides herself on finding ways to help her clients conclude legal matters favorably and efficiently. Tansha also regularly advises clients on best practices and procedures to avoid workers’ compensation penalties and causes of action for breach of contract and bad faith.

Prior to joining Peddicord Lillis, Tansha was a partner at a prominent insurance defense firm in Des Moines.
